Equipped with this new technology, RPS will be able to utilize flexible and configurable tools to manage the candidate identification and recruiting, applicant tracking and hiring, teacher and staff evaluation, and record-keeping processes. The district will have access to many other features, including the customization of applications and automation of notifications and reference checks. Candidates will also benefit from an intuitive, easy-to-use application process, which can be accessed at richmondcity.tedk12.com/hire/index.aspx. “Since arriving in RPS, we have made a concerted effort to make improvements in both academic and operational areas. One area we constantly received feedback about was our online application process,” said Dr. Dana T. Bedden, school superintendent. “Today, we launched what we believe is the first part of a robust response to improving our applicant engagement and tracking capabilities that will make it easier for the applicant and more efficient and effective for our human resources department to deliver services. More improvements will be forthcoming in our human resources function and other areas of RPS.” Additional improvements and upgrades will be incorporated throughout the migration process, to include candidate engagement, employee evaluations, and record management modules.
